  1. Looks great and it seems that its a very unique and different design from ET.

    • wonderful as usual, thanks nick, the best is you, i love elegantthemes!

      • I agree Ashley, this is so beautiful and artistic!

        • Nice Theme

  2. So far, so good. I like it.

  3. Looks great!

  4. It looks amazing πŸ™‚

  5. Nice πŸ™‚

  6. Looks awesome!

  7. As always, unique and creative. Gonna be a fun one I’m sure.

  8. I need to see MOAR! LOL! Looks fantastic! I sold a subscription for you the other day when I showed the guy the convertible and how it worked. Keep up the great work, best money I have spent in a long long time!

  9. looking cool πŸ™‚

  10. Love it! Definitely unique. Look forward to taking it for a spin!

  11. Yes Yes and Yes…. Seriously looking forward to it..

  12. It look nice and I look forward to it get released. πŸ™‚

  13. Looks awesome! Love the contrast.

  14. Looks great, will it come in light colors too?

  15. Really creative design!

  16. This theme looks amazing. Looking forward to check it out..

  17. Looking very promising – again.

  18. It’s looking good, Nick.

  19. Hope it has a “real” Gallery / portfolio feature, meaning it pulls photos & videos from a folder and NOT from posts or pages.

    • Ditto that! You guys are so awesome! Thanks for all the hard work!

  20. This one actually looks cool.

  21. I never gave an opinion and now I’m very comfortable saying that this thema looks amazing. tks congratulations…

  22. Innovative. Great timing, too! Just today I had a client ask for a dark or grey theme.

      • Beware BusinessCard…it’s rather like Convertible in that core WordPress functionality has been stripped!

I understand that these themes are designed to be one-page sites — but taking out the ability to do blogs and even add additional pages is un-WordPressing WordPress, not something people normally expect!

Someone who wants a very simplistic “Web 1.0” kind of site would be okay but it’s just not what WordPress users expect in the 21st Century. Looks great, though!

        • Actually you can always use the wordpress inbuilt menu to add links to any functionality you want.

          • Huh?? Now that’s really interesting…you mean all those people commenting in the Convertible support forum about stripped functionality could easily restore such functionality — like adding more pages, et cetera — by going through Appearance>Menus???

Sorry to be such a n00b…please let me know if that’s really possible as I’d love to make use of BusinessCard and maybe even Convertible!

  23. @Nick

    Well done!

    Its pretty cool design. πŸ™‚

  24. Great work is coming up

  25. Looks very stylish and subtle theme. Any ETA ?

    • Based on the dates of past previews and debuts, generally three to four weeks.

      Mid-March, IOW!

  26. Stunning design look very pretty. Can it full-screen image background WordPress theme?

  27. Looks amazing, but, it would be a great idea to have some optional design to use it as a weeding theme (less dark and angular).

    Awesome πŸ˜‰

  28. It looks slick!
Looking forward to seeing this theme.

    Great job as always Nick!

  29. Well done.

  30. Could be the perfect photographers template

  31. Looks good! When will this be available? Hope it’ll be soon. Looking forward to see the full version.

  32. Oh Boy, yet another design fest with the tiniest market potential, if ANY. I mean who on earth is this aimed at, some teenage girl blogger?

As for all these sycophants, I doubt that any of them will have any real use for this theme.

I have definately decided NOT to renew my membership. I will keep an eye on your themes and perhaps join again when you actually create a commercially usable theme.

    • Not everything NEEDS to be commercial viable. Every once in a while, people, believe it or not, like to do things for fun. Sometimes that includes blogging.

There’s already about a dozen commercial usable themes here. Sure, a couple more couldn’t hurt, but if you keep churning out nothing but commercial/corporate dribble all the time, you really start to hate what you do.

      Chill out a little.

      • Only idiots or people with ego problems create blogs for fun and then they tend to do it with free themes.

It is simple math, you are asking someone to put their hand in their pocket to pay for a membership.

You want the biggest market possible or range of markets.

The biggest market is one that makes money itself.

It is not as if any decent business themes have been produced in the last 12 months.

We get all the daft themes with HUGE sliders so users have to scroll, instead they leave the page.

I would not mind if he produced one or two decent themes for small businesses a year.

I mean look at the colors of all these themes, just like girly wallpaper and those that have a palette are boring feminine pastels.

        • Hey James, I sympathize with you because even though I’m a big fan of ET I personally would like them to focus less on releasing new themes so often and more on creating more “specialized” themes and, even, updating older themes (particularly with responsive design!)…but this is an old issue that’s been raised before on the ET blog, to which Nick himself just basically shrugs — and I’d imagine that he understood his business.

Have you thought about WooThemes? I see they have quite a few eCommerce themes — they even offer a full-fledged shopping cart plugin for free to go with those themes! — so I guess Nick determined at some point that he’s not competing for that kind of a market, as Sean had noted below.

Believe me, I sympathize with you but at the end of the day I highly recommend ET to everyone I know because $39 for even just one usable theme is pretty fair to me, never mind a handful out the dozens available — and the surprisingly good tech support! Honestly I didn’t expect much tech support for customizations but everyone has been very, very, very helpful and I’m just floored by it.

I guess what I’m really trying to say is that I hope you just take ET for what it is and not remain upset at what it isn’t. All the themes are available for a fully functional preview almost all the time so I had an idea before subscribing what was on offer.

    • james, i feel the same way. his themes are beautiful, but they are geared towards “mom bloggers.” my guess is that commercial themes require a lot more support since people are buying them for clients sites and require more customizations.

      • Yes, that makes sense. But $39 a year is great if you don’t mind doing your own customizations! I’ve been absolutely amazed at how much I’ve been able to do with ET, thanks to the wonderful support forum mods!

        • Well you seem to be making use of anticipate at the moment!

          • LOL

Actually, I’m just busy developing content such as interactive fiction made with Inform 7 and visual novels created with Ren’Py!

Anyway, I do sympathize with your point, though I still maintain that aside from enterprise-level retail operations, maybe, most small to mid-sized businesses online could fairly easily couple an ET theme with a shopping cart plugin for all the eComm they’re likely to handle!

    • I will be using it for a commercial site if it doesn’t have core functionality stripped out like Convertible and BusinessCard did.

Besides themes like that, I can see commercial potential for all that ET puts out — with the right plugins, anyway!

      • Oops — just realized upon a closer inspection of the preview photos that blogging functionality will be present!

    • Photography and design (graphic, industrial, architectural, fashion, etc.) are businesses too, and these types of themes make great platforms for them to display their work, and earn more business.
      … think outside the box!

      • This would also be a great site for a model or actor/actress which is one of the audiences I focus on. James, if the themes are no good for your use, don’t renew and move on.

    • I double what James says, most themes are kind of fancy stuff and not usable straightaway for corporate websites. So I’m sticking to Themeforest for corporate styles and ET for the occasional fancy blogs that we might come up with. No offence meant cos the themes are really good looking but do not serve the purpose most of the time, so even I am a bit hesitant to renew this time.

  33. Niceee, looks like something different!

  34. this could work as a portal

  35. This is looking goooooooooooooooood ;-))

  36. awesome… nice and cool style

  37. Visually very pretty as always.

But what is the thinking behind this theme, in terms of target audience and utilisation?

  38. Nice! Is it a “responsive” theme – i.e. across different display sizes?

    • I would like to know this too. I think Nick said that all the coming themes will be responsive.

  39. This is what I was hoping for…. something a little edgy. Man I’m worn out on the feathery, frilly look….

    tired of round corners too

    great job guys.

  40. Looking forward for it – I have already concept how to customize it.

  41. Hmm… not sure, is it intended as foto or videoblog? Hard to see the navigation options, but might be fun for some of the bloggers. Not my kind really.

  42. i realy like it!, other razon for renew my suscription!

  43. Looks promising to me as well πŸ™‚ It is a pity we can’t see more. Hopefully the theme will be buddypress compatible πŸ˜‰

  44. woo! and not woo themes! but woo! looks hot! πŸ™‚

  45. gonna be awesome.

  46. Yip! Looks very good…hope the wait isn’t to long!

  47. Ooh, looks like another great theme. Can’t wait to try it. ^^

  48. Looks awesome. Cannot wait for this to come out. Keep up the awesome work.

  49. Sick nice!!!

  50. very good theme , very nice , i want to try it !

  51. theme is just beautiful! =)

  52. Wow! I am really excited! I can not wait for that theme to be out..

    Thank you so much!

  53. I’m very happy with my new account. Really nice themes. Keep up the good work!

  54. WOW! the wallpapers and themes are so beautiful and nice. Thanks for sharing and also Carpetcleaninghaddontownship site is very nice its providing great and professional themes.

  55. Looks great!

Hoping that you consider a theme that uses (or creates its own version of) the Marketpress Lite plugin — which basically lets anyone set up their own etsy and/or ebay and/or groupon and/or classifieds site. The plugin’s basic functionality (including a cart that will divert a single payment to different bank accounts) is great, but their themes are really weak. Hoping!!

  56. Looks amazing!

  57. Fantastic. I am looking forward to this one!!

  58. Date of release ????

  59. first thing i do when I wake up is check to see if this theme has been published….the suspense is driving me mad!!

    • I’ve been doing the same thing every single day this week!!! I deal with the suspense by responding to posts…kinda like pressing the elevator button incessantly….

      • Ha! Nice.

  60. Really awesome themes forcing me to take the membership… !

  61. I have to say that this looks really cool. When is the proposed launch date?

  62. For everyone wondering about the release date of a theme, the turnaround time seems to be three to four weeks from the blog post first announcing its existence.

On occasion, however, ET has released a theme like only a week later…I’m hoping this will be on of those times!

  63. Fantastic design. This could be applied to so many creative oriented industries – photogrpahy, music, fashion. Can’t wait!

+1 for a responsive layout too. And if it’s HTML5 that’d be the icing on the cake. No pressure though πŸ™‚

  64. Cant wait, it’s looking good.

  65. Cool! Appreciate it very much everytime you introduce a new design… Hurry up with the release, will ya? Thank you! πŸ™‚

  66. My wordpress site was recently hacked (because I failed to update my theme version – lesson learned). I’m a photographer and was going to go back to the theme I was using before – until I saw this upcoming theme. Now I’m going to wait until I see this before I rebuild my site…. thanks guys for the great themes…

  67. Looking Great one.. I was looking that kind of theme. Thank you

  68. it might be nice for weddings and events style pages. looks nice.

  69. Looks awesome. I agree with Chris’ comment regarding the ‘real’ gallery feature.

And of course responsiveness is a must these days!

    Thanks, can’t wait!

  83. will give it a try, looks interesting!

  88. Urban and sophisticated. Very posh. Look forward to using it on our websites.

  95. Nice looking theme for a specific type of business. Certainly eye-catching. I like the fact you create a diverse set of themes – there’s something for every site. Congrats on over 100,000 members.

  96. It’s the end of the week and still no Gleam πŸ™

    • Sorry, this is a rather tough one to make πŸ™‚

  97. Hi Nick

Any update on the release as looking forward to seeing it.

  98. Hi Nick but news about portfolio/gallery ?
    Is now realy gallery ?

  99. Is this theme to be responsive?

  100. I used to check ET Blog every day, but it drove me insane. If you suffer from the same problem, just subscribe to the RSS feed. When I receive the email from Feedburner about a new blog post, it is the most exciting email of the month!

  101. Hi Nick but news about portfolio/gallery ?
    Is now really gallery ?

  102. Looks good and waiting

  103. Been checking every day for at least a week! Release Gleam into the wild!

  109. This theme really very nice. I likt it. Thanks you for sharing with me.

  110. Great theme, where can I get the images that you have used in your preview? I want to buy these images, any link to that??? Please reply urgently.

    • Probably too late, Norman, but the images are from (our affiliate link there, if that’s all right). Just look for “23711084”….

For future reference, Google has a cool image search function whereby you can simply drag an image into its search bar (the text input field, which now also works with images!) to find some image or other!

  111. I like this theme, its good to be used on a fashion blog.

  112. It looks good………I’ll give it a try………….

  113. These themes are very very attractive and everyone seems to be loving it.

    well done.
